Administrative Committee (established July 2002)
This committee is comprised of the Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. The committee meets monthly with the CEO and the Manager of Finance and Administration. The principle purpose of the committee is to develop recommendations for the Executive Committee to consider in regard to the strategic governance and management of the organisation.
Agency Management
The Executive Committee has delegated the day-to-day management to the CEO.
CEO
As a result of a restructure of the organisation in 2005 the new CEO position was created.
The role of the CEO includes implementing strategic policies determined by the Executive Committee and ensuring that Southcare meets the outcome, quality and output requirements of its funding bodies. The CEO is ultimately responsible for the financial and operational success of the organisation. The CEO also has responsibility to oversee all staff and volunteer management as well as the development of new business in accordance with the policies of the Executive Committee.
Program Management
Each program is under the direction of a Program Manager. Each manager has the responsibility to provide leadership, direction and support to their staff and volunteers. The managers ensure client services are delivered appropriately and that these services comply with the contractual and quality standards.
Volunteers
Volunteers are valued members of the Southcare team and they provide support for all programs. Without their assistance there would be many services that could not be provided to the local community.
