Southcare aims to provide a highly professional service to its clients and has for many years encouraged staff members to take advantage of local training opportunities. Over the last two years, they have also been encouraged to participate in nationally recognised training which generally involves the awarding of qualifications at Certificate III and IV level. It is a key factor in assisting Southcare’s staff to further develop their skills and respond to our clients’ varied needs. Individuals who successfully complete this training are also rewarded with higher remuneration.

We often have the following positions available:

• Community Care Workers

Community Care Workers are needed to provide domestic assistance, personalcare, social support and in home respite to people who are frail aged ordisabled and living in their own homes

Selection Criteria

Desirable: Previous experience in similarposition, First Aid Certificate, Certificate III in Health and Community Care,or Cert III in Aged Care.

Essential: Police Clearance, current Drivers Licence, own vehicle andcurrent WA licence.

Flexible hours are offered.
