 Sensory Garden

One of the main  aims is to provide support for  carers who may work, have medical appointments or other occasional or regular commitments. Attendance hours can be flexible and members can visit on a regular day each week,  occasional days or in some cases several days a week depending on their need and availability of places at the club..

Sensory Garden

In March 2003 Members of the Rotary Club of South Perth ( now merged with Burswood Rotary Club)  transformed the backyard  of the Bickley Club house into a sensory garden. This allows  clients to experience the delights of nature through touch, smell, sight, sound and taste. There are bird-attracting plants, colourful borders, perfumed shrubs and plants, a water feature, wind chimes, a pergola and garden benches where clients can sit and enjoy the peace of the garden. A small lawn is just large enough to play a game of bocce.
