Southcare is audited by both the State and Federal Governments every 3 years in the delivery of its aged care services.
Southcare was audited in 2013 and 2014 respectively by both Governments and fully met all the standards of these independent audits. Southcare’s Financial Counselling service was also audited in 2014 and we are pleased to report that we also met all the requirements of that audit.

We have integrated processes in place to incorporate feedback and suggestions relating to service delivery, customer surveys and independent recommendations which help us to continually improve our service to all our stakeholders. Every year Southcare’s financial records are audited by an external auditor. The results of these audits are published in our Annual Report.
Maintaining high standards
Southcare has a Service Governance Committee to ensure a collaborative approach to quality, compliance, satisfaction and best practice across the organisation. This Committee has an Audit Plan to conduct regular internal audits on service and operational activity to ensure our service delivery is to agreed and specified criteria, meets the needs and expectations of our various stakeholders; and is of a consistently high standard.
