Free Future Planning Session for Carers
Thursday, 29 June 2017 – 12:30pm to 3:15pm
What plans can you, or the person you care for, put in place regarding future decisions?
What happens if there are no plans in place and you lose capacity to make your own decisions or decisions about the person you care for? Who would make these decisions if you, or the person you care for, are unable to make them?
Find the answers to these questions and more at a free information session about:
- wills, will storage and the administration of deceased estates
- Enduring Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Guardianship and Advance Health Directives
- the role of the Public Trustee which offers independent, professional trustee and asset management services
- the role of the Public Advocate in protecting adults with a decision-making disability.
This Future Planning Session is presented by the Department of Local Government and Communities in partnership with the Office of the Public Advocate and the Public Trustee.
