It’s not every day you get to celebrate turning 100 years old and certainly not every day that milestone happens in COVID-19 lockdown!

Well, for our Southcare Star Delia, that’s exactly what happened! We were due to celebrate with Delia during her scheduled service but that got cancelled when news of the snap lockdown broke.

Delia had travelled to Toodyay a few days before her service to celebrate with family and then found herself unable to return to Perth with the temporary lockdown closures in late June.

Good news is that she returned home safely and then got to celebrate twice – we shared this bunch of flowers on her return to Perth in early July.

Happiest of birthdays Delia! May this year bring you twice as many blessings!
