Dogs, fashion, soccer and chess are just some of the things you can chat about next time you’re on the phone to our Customer Service team.

Yes, these are the faces you speak to if a service needs to change or if you have a question about a support worker.

Amy heads up the team and is the resident fashionista here at Southcare, so much so she wants you to know she has a whole room in her house devoted to clothes and shoes!

If fashion isn’t your thing, ask her about the time spent in the UK where she worked as a live in carer providing 24/7 care to someone in their home in Woodstock and had Blenheim Palace as her backyard!

Amanda has international connect-ions too; she comes to us from her native Canada and tells us her best holiday was spent visiting children in need in east Africa.

When she isn’t rostering services for you, she’s at the beach with her 6-year-old daughter and three huge dogs Lilo, Stitch and Dakota.

Ursula doesn’t have any pets, but has two children, three grandchildren and lives with her husband, still in their original family home (like many of you!).

Her most memorable holiday was watching the 2010 World Cup on her home soil in Johannesburg, South Africa and she describes herself as a caring chatterbox who loves to laugh… perfect for this role!

Rob is our newest team member and many of you know him as he calls our female customers “Ma’am” when chatting on the phone. He tells us it’s just something he’s always done because respect is important.

He also loves playing chess and listening to music: R&B, 80s and motivational styles are his favourites and just to keep it interesting, he would love to travel back in time to meet inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla!
