Southcare is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation that provides personalised aged care and support and community services to help you or your loved one live with dignity and respect in your own home and neighbourhood.
We are managing COVID-19 as a priority to ensure a continued high and safe level of service during this new era of protection and connection and have zero reported cases.
We are a home, personal and community care team with a passion to make a difference in the lives of the people we work with and for the area we call home. We provide health, wellbeing and capacity building services to people in need so that they can stay independent, in control and make the most of their opportunities and potential. We work within the areas of aged care, finance, Aboriginal family support, leadership training and local amenities.
Our home care service is personalised and caring and our packages are tailored to the way you like to live. Our community connectedness and the wide range of services we provide demonstrate our commitment to enhancing the lives of older people that call this area home too.

An open letter from Dr Nicky Howe, CEO Southcare With the news of WA’s COVID-19 lockdown roadmap now released by the State Government, I wanted to once again confirm Southcare’s position for the forthcoming week so we can continue to #protectandconnect and be a proactive carer, connector...
The Southcare community has helped me relive some of my favourite experiences. I still enjoy a nice outing, whether it’s going for a drive down the coast on a beautiful sunny day, having lunch in Mandurah with my friends from the Southcare day centre or a trip to visit Government House in the city for a gander at the Governor’s office. I get to visit a variety of places and also do a variety of activities.
My time at Southcare centre has been uplifting. I’ve been able to meet great friends, sing, dance and enjoy delicious food, games and activities. I feel as though I can contribute positively to the atmosphere at the centre, and to someone’s happiness.
I am so happy with the Social Centre and your social outings. Because of you, I am now able to go out and interact with people. Thank you so much for your dedication. All the volunteers have a heart of gold.
