Support at Home

Under Support at Home (Home Care Packages), the level of funding you will receive from the Government will vary depending on the classification you have been allocated and the Government will automatically allocate 10% of your funding budget to care management fees. You may need to make a co-contribution towards your care.  This will be determined by Services Australia based on an income and assets assessment.

With CHSP, the funding you receive from the Government is dependent on your income and the type and number of services you need. The costs for home care will be dependent on the type, how much, how often and when home care is needed.
