Where you can find Aboriginal Family Support

It is with a heavy heart that we advise our Aboriginal Family Support service is temporarily closed until we appoint a new Aboriginal Family Support Officer.

We have proudly supported families in Como, Karawara, Kensington, Manning, Salter Point, South Perth and Waterford since 1982 and the decision to temporarily halt the service has not been taken lightly.

As you know, Garry Gower has managed this service for Southcare since 2001, after joining us in 1999, and is this week leaving us to pursue other opportunities. The contribution he has made to the lives of many local families extends his incredible legacy and our very best wishes are with him.

Southcare’s other community services continue to operate as normal.
