Southcare and Foodbank are making it easier for you to put an end to hunger. A Mobile Foodbank visits our Manning offices every week for you to access what you need at affordable prices and enjoy free seasonal fruit, vegetables and bread to take home.

The Mobile Foodbank is located in the secure carpark area at 54 Bickley Crescent, Manning, and offers the following between 11.30am – 12.30pm every Monday (excluding public holidays).  Please bring your pre-registered Foodbank referral to redeem:

  • FREE seasonal fruit, vegetables and bread
  • Everyday essential dry goods
  • Assorted frozen products including ready-made meals and frozen meats

This community service is part of Southcare’s Community Support program and exclusively available to those people who have been assessed and approved by Southcare (eligibility requirements mean you must have proof of current address and a valid Centrelink card).

Getting you assessed and approved is quick and easy and our caring hands can help.  To streamline this, please complete your details below and we will be in touch.

Once you are approved, you will receive a personalised Foodbank referral and you simply present that each time you visit to access the mobile pantry.  You are welcome to access a little, or a lot, it’s your choice and your independence.

Please note:

  • payment for dry goods and frozen products is via EFTPOS only (cash is not accepted under any circumstance)
  • shopping bags are not supplied so please BYO
  • visitors will be seen in order of arrival until supplies are exhausted
  • this is not a home delivery service or a pre-packaged cooked meal service
  • the service does not operate on public holidays and items are subject to change without notice
