Vision :  Southcare will be recognised as a leading agency in services that support the well-being of people in need in the local community

Mission : To offer caring services to the residents of the local community, assisting them to     enhance their quality of life  

Values: Southcare is motivated by Christian caring and modelled on Christian values of  Quality, Respect, Integrity, Cooperation and Empathy 

  • Quality - A positive approach to doing your best and using every opportunity to learn and improve.  Valuing and encouraging healthy living and wellbeing.
  • Respect  -  Listening, acknowledgment, courtesy, treat others as you would want to be treated. Stand up for the right  of people to be different

About Southcare

Southcare is a not-for-profit organisation based in Manning and has been providing caring services to residents of the City of South Perth since 1982 and more recently to the residents in surrounding areas. Southcare’s team of 80 employees and more than 95 volunteers have responsibility for providing a variety of Government sponsored aged care and family support programs.

The combined team of friendly staff and over one hundred volunteers ensures that these programs work efficiently and with empathy to benefit the local community. Southcare is also home to New Horizons Day Centre and Bickley Club, Mankara Low Cost Food Store, the Opportunity Shop, Financial Counselling and Emergency relief and Aboriginal Family Support services all of which are based at their Manning premises.

Services are supported by : WA Department of Health; Federal Department of Health & Ageing; Department of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development and Local Government; Disability Service Commission; Department of Veterans Affairs ; Department for Child Protection; City of South Perth; Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs; Department for Communities; Lotterywest
