Southcare Knitting Circle
Come join us for a yarn while making yarn at our weekly Knitting Circle and share some pearls of wisdom with likeminded members in your community.
The focus is firmly on fun and is open to anyone who knits, crochets, hand sews and embroiders including those interested in learning this craft as help from caring hands will be provided. There’s no need to RSVP, simply come along and join the fun!

Our thanks to community ambassador Sally Marks who is leading this new social circle with us as part of our Community Connectedness program.
If knitting is not for you, we can still connect with you in the community by delivering individual social support either in your home, or out and about.
The caring hands of our home care workers and volunteers can help you with shopping, appointments, and accessing local community groups.
We can also accompany you to morning teas, coffee catch ups, lunches, going for walks or visiting friends and family.
Staying social is a great way to maintain your independence and keep a healthy and meaningful life.
In recent times when we have been required to stay physically distant, we must remember to stay socially connected. Let us know what you need and let’s experience it together!
