Join us for free weekly meditation classes
Southcare and Sahaja Yoga Mediation are pleased to welcome you to a free, weekly meditation class where you can take pause from your life for an intentional release of the mind. Classes begin on Tuesday 3 September and will run every Tuesday thereafter.
Join practitioners with more than 25+ years’ experience, in supportive classes which will help you to:
- Relax
- Experience thoughtless awareness
- Connect to your inner silence
- Bring peace within
This is not yoga as you know it – there are no physical poses. Instead, you will sit on a chair and learn to embrace the silence within. The class is open to everyone of all ages and abilities with the goal of giving you the experience of true meditation, which is defined by stilling of the mind.
Many people quite quickly have the experience of thoughtless awareness, a state where your attention is alert and clear, with no thoughts buzzing around.
Some may take a little longer for this state to become easy to access, initially for short moments and then gradually longer. This thoughtless inner state is experienced as relaxing, enjoyable and even joyful.
In this class you will learn to meditate in an easy enjoyable way in a collective and supportive environment.
